Biography

Irvin Baxter Jr. is founder and president of Endtime Ministries, He is an author, publisher, broadcaster, pastor, and international prophecy teacher. Before his full-time work with Endtime Ministries, Irvin Baxter, Jr. served as pastor of the Oak Park Church in Richmond, Indiana for approximately 32 years.

Views

Believes that the Chernobyl accident was the fulfillment of prophecy specifically that it was the third trumpet of Revelation 8. Also believes that the first four seals of Revelation 6 have been opened already.

Beliefs

According to Wikipedia and RaptureReady.com Baxter is part of the Oneness Pentecostal movement. According to Carm.org this doctrine teaches that there is no trinity because the believe God is one person represented three different ways, not three personages of the one God. Further they believe that Jesus was not preexisting before the incarnation but that He existed as the Father. They also teach that baptism is required for salvation and that speaking in tongues is a required sign of being born again. They believe that baptism must be performed only in Jesus name. They also believe they are the only true believers.

Predictions

In Early 2008 Baxter and the editor of his Endtime magazine said that they believe in 12 months time two billion people would die from a war started in Iraq. They left some room that it might happen ion a slightly longer time frame. More than 12 months has passed since this time and no war in Iraq has caused 2 billion to die.

Baxter claims that in 1968 he predicted the fall of the Berlin Wall and that this would bring about a new world order.
